Hop BroIt opened in October 2025 inside "awa awa KOBE," a natural hot spring spa and sauna in Kobe's HAT Kobe area. You go to the taproom barefoot, just like you would on your way through the baths.
MugiBarefoot beer? So it's like a drink after the bath? Isn't that amazing?
Hop BroThe background of head brewer Shogo Togami is impressive too. He fell in love with craft beer in Seattle, then joined Kyoto Brewing as part of its founding early team in 2017 and spent two years training at Heretic Brewing in California. After returning to Japan, he launched his own brewery.

Hop BroThe concept is "beer that paints a scene," and they brew a wide variety of beers like a painter's palette. "UNDER THE MOON" is a wheat IPA with 6.0% ABV, known for its tropical pineapple-like aroma and soft mouthfeel.

Hop Bro"MIXED MEDIA" is a rye hazy IPA, with a spicy rye accent and layered citrus notes from four hops. Since they brew 3 to 4 new beers each month using four 2,000-liter tanks, you can discover something new every time you visit.

Hop BroYou can see the brewing tanks through glass from inside the taproom, which has 5 counter seats and 12 table seats. Right in front of you is an ocean view of Kobe Port. At the end of March, they'll also hold a joint tap takeover with AQ Bevolution at IBREW in Ebisu.
