TOTTEI Brewery is a brewery inside TOTTEI PARK in Kobe’s Shinko No. 2 Pier area, right next to GLION ARENA KOBE, which is surrounded by the sea on 270 degrees.

A brewery next to an arena!? And what do you mean, 270 degrees of sea!?
Hop Bro
It’s on the first floor of the park area called the "Green Hill," and you can drink beer at standing tables by the sea or on the lawn plaza. Another highlight is that the glass-walled brewing equipment can be viewed anytime.
Mugi
Beer on the lawn while looking at the sea sounds amazing!

What’s interesting is the team behind it: a farmer growing lemons in Hyogo, someone involved in beer equipment distribution at a major food company, someone from the fashion industry, and other members with no prior experience in the beer business came together because they wanted to create a new brewery in Kobe.
Mugi
Whoa, from lemon farmers to people in fashion! They’re all from totally different fields!

The first batch, "TOTTEI Belgian White," is a Belgian white brewed together with Nakatsu Brewery. The standard "Whitebeer" has a fruity, clean taste made with orange peel and coriander, with reduced bitterness and gentle carbonation for a soft drinking experience.
Mugi
I love Belgian white! What else do they have?
Hop Bro
The IPA is around 5.5% ABV, with a pleasant balance between the lingering bitterness of hops and the sweetness of the wort. In the future, they also plan to offer Lager, Pale Ale, Porter, and Fruit Beer. Another fun point is that they rotate craft beers from all over Kansai as "guest beers."
Mugi
So you can drink beers from other breweries too!
Hop Bro
They also work with local food producers and artists, and they even set up booths at events like the "Choberigu Market." They’re aiming to be the kind of place where you can stop by after a live show and enjoy freshly brewed beer while looking out at the sea.
Mugi
Live music, beer, and the sea! I definitely want to go to the next event!
