According to Oenbed's Instagram post, the beer introduced in this update is a limited release positioned as a "SPECIAL DARK BEER." The label featured under `No.9 PAINT PALETTE BREWING` is BREATH OF TANO. The style is FARMHOUSE ALE WITH COFFEE, and the ABV is listed as 5.5%.

For the ingredients, it uses Tano Batak from Indonesia, sourced through TAOCA COFFEE, a specialty coffee roaster with locations in Nishinomiya and Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. The post explained that, in addition to earthy, spicy, nutty, and herbal impressions from the coffee beans, tropical fermentation-driven nuances and flavors reminiscent of dark chocolate emerge as the temperature changes.

Paint Palette Brewing is a brewery based in Chuo Ward, Kobe, and its official website describes it as "a brewery that paints a variety of scenes." On the site as well, it offers beers with striking names such as `MIXED MEDIA`, `BREATH OF TANO`, `LAYERED MIRAGES`, and `TIME TOWARD WARMTH`, and this limited release can be seen as one beer in that same stream.

This post was published as part of the announcement for the Kyoto After-Bath Craft Beer Festival 2026. With a notice that it will be tapped in limited quantities from 5 p.m., anyone wanting to drink it at the venue will want to keep an early eye on the taps.
