Paint Palette Brewing to Release Limited "BREATH OF TANO" at 5 p.m. for the ABC Festival
On Instagram, Oenbed introduced Paint Palette Brewing's limited beer "BREATH OF TANO." The style is FARMHOUSE ALE WITH COFFEE, and the ABV is 5.5%. It is being presented as one beer for the Kyoto After-Bath Craft Beer Festival 2026, with taps scheduled to open gradually from 5 p.m.
According to Oenbed's Instagram post, the beer introduced in this update is a limited release positioned as a "SPECIAL DARK BEER." The label featured under `No.9 PAINT PALETTE BREWING` is BREATH OF TANO. The style is FARMHOUSE ALE WITH COFFEE, and the ABV is listed as 5.5%.
For the ingredients, it uses Tano Batak from Indonesia, sourced through TAOCA COFFEE, a specialty coffee roaster with locations in Nishinomiya and Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. The post explained that, in addition to earthy, spicy, nutty, and herbal impressions from the coffee beans, tropical fermentation-driven nuances and flavors reminiscent of dark chocolate emerge as the temperature changes.
Paint Palette Brewing is a brewery based in Chuo Ward, Kobe, and its official website describes it as "a brewery that paints a variety of scenes." On the site as well, it offers beers with striking names such as `MIXED MEDIA`, `BREATH OF TANO`, `LAYERED MIRAGES`, and `TIME TOWARD WARMTH`, and this limited release can be seen as one beer in that same stream.
