Paint Palette Brewing Releases Rye Hazy IPA "MIXED MEDIA"
Paint Palette Brewing, based in Chuo Ward, Kobe, introduced its rye hazy IPA "MIXED MEDIA" on Instagram. It is the third beer in the series to use rye malt, and the new release layers aromas reminiscent of white peach, tropical fruit, and citrus. It will be available in both cans and kegs.
The Third Rye Hazy IPA in the Series
Paint Palette Brewing is a craft beer brewery based in Chuo Ward, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. "MIXED MEDIA" has arrived as the third release in the brewery's rye hazy IPA series. The base uses pilsner malt, flaked wheat, rye malt, and wheat malt, creating the soft mouthfeel typical of a hazy IPA while layering in the light spice character that comes from rye.
Aroma Design
The hop bill is built around Elani, combined with several other hops. The brewery describes the beer as bringing forward aromas of white peach and pineapple, while also offering notes of pear, white grape, and citrus. By choosing rye malt instead of oats, the beer is designed not to lean only into the "haze" and "softness" of a hazy IPA, but to deliver a more defined drinking experience. That is one of the highlights of this beer.
Available in Cans and Kegs
The product is offered in 350 ml cans as well as kegs for commercial use. It is structured to reach both people enjoying beer at home and restaurants serving it on tap, and the brewery's latest release also broadens its distribution. As the name suggests, it is a beer that builds its character by layering ingredients and aromas, and it reflects the recipe-building style of a small Kobe brewery.
