And it's housed in a renovated old Japanese house. The representative, Hayato Fukasawa, traveled the world in his twenties and actually worked at cafes and restaurants in different countries. Drawing on that experience, he brought in the idea of "seeing things from diverse perspectives," and the brewery opened in April 2024.

They aimed to raise 1 million yen on crowdfunding, but ended up collecting 2.15 million yen, reaching 215% of their goal. They got support from 63 backers. Another key point is that the brewmaster is a former chef, so the way the beers are built incorporates a culinary approach.

The three core beers make it easy to understand. "SURF BLUE" is a pale ale with a foamy head like white surf; "SNOW WHITE" is a saison with a smooth drinking finish; and "SKATE RED" is a West Coast IPA that hits hard with Citra and Columbus hops. All three are inspired by 3S sports: surfing, snowboarding, and skateboarding.

They also make an amber ale called "Amber Lover," and they sell it in cans too. The food menu includes soft tacos and fritto misto, and they clearly think carefully about pairings with beer. You can definitely feel the influence of the brewmaster's background as a former chef.
