Amaterasu Brewery, based in Fujisawa, Kanagawa, announced a seasonal Instagram post on August 21 introducing a one-week-only promotion called the "Summer Sour Festival." The brewery said it has put two sour-style beers on tap for the hot season.

The beers

Yellow Lailalai

A sour with pineapple at 4.5% ABV. The brewery describes it as a summer-focused beer brewed with pineapple puree and guava puree, aiming for a bright aroma and a clean, refreshing sour finish. It is positioned as an easy-drinking option for hot days.

Swing Swing Swing

A gose with lemonade at 3% ABV. Built on a salted sour base, it uses homemade lemonade and honey to soften the edges while keeping a noticeable saline character. The lower alcohol level also makes it a relaxed summer drink.

The post also mentions the Enoshima area and the way the afternoon breeze can make the heat feel a little softer. For a local brewery in Fujisawa, this is a straightforward seasonal offering built around freshness, acidity, and drinkability.
