Okutama-based brewery VERTERE will host OKUTAMA BEER FEST 2026 on October 31 and November 1. The free-entry festival will bring together six craft breweries from across Japan, along with regional food vendors and a local market, at VERTERE’s brewery site.

Two days of beer in Okutama
OKUTAMA BEER FEST 2026 will take place at the VERTERE brewery site in Okutama, western Tokyo. The festival runs from 11:00 to 17:00 on both days, with doors opening at 10:45. Set against Okutama’s gradually deepening autumn colors, the event is designed as a relaxed way to enjoy craft beer, food, and the surrounding landscape.
The participating breweries are VERTERE, KYOTO BREWING from Kyoto, Nara Brewing Co., TOTOPIA from Aichi, West Coast Brewing from Shizuoka, and ZAKKOKU KOUBOU from Saitama. With breweries from different regions and brewing backgrounds, the event offers visitors a chance to explore a broad range of Japanese craft beer in one setting.
Ethical Spirits will also attend with “REVIVE from VERTERE,” its ethical spirits series. Food trucks will include B-YARD, MITAKE HOLIDAY GELATO, Stand by Mekong, TOKYO WASABI, Ramen Itsuki, and Okuedo Suisan. The market lineup includes Ome Farm, New Dagashiya Sanma, and the Okutama Tourism Association, bringing local products and regional flavors to the festival.
Limited hand towels for early arrivals
Visitors arriving between 10:45 and 11:15 will receive a hand towel featuring the OBF2026 limited design. Further details on distribution will be provided by the organizers.
Admission is free and no ticket is required. Payments are made directly at each vendor booth. The venue is approximately a 20-minute walk from JR Okutama Station, or a three-minute walk from the “Byoin-mae” bus stop. A shuttle bus between Okutama Station and the venue is also planned.
VERTERE is based in Okutama, surrounded by greenery, clean air, and clear water. Its brewing philosophy centers on “who you drink with, where you drink, and how you drink,” emphasizing the experience surrounding a beer as much as the beer itself. This festival follows that approach by pairing VERTERE’s brewery setting with fresh beer, food, and the atmosphere of Okutama.
