Evolve Beer&Kitchen Lists Nine Taps and Joins Toyohashi Awa Awa Awaー
Mukojima beer pub Evolve Beer&Kitchen has released its September 15 tap list, featuring everything from Brut Lager and Helles to sour ale, hazy IPA, West Coast IPA and nitro dark mild. The pub will also appear at Toyohashi Awa Awa Awaー on September 19–20.
Evolve Beer&Kitchen, a beer pub in Mukojima, Sumida, Tokyo, has announced a nine-beer tap list for September 15.
The lineup includes “KOZUKOZU,” a fifth-anniversary collaboration between Evolve and Atsumi Peninsula Brewing, served as a Brut Lager. HARVESTMOON’s Pilsner is marked as running low, while Y.MARKET BREWING’s “Frais Pils” brings a French Pils style to the taps.
Newly tapped beers include Brasserie Knot’s “AWA,” a Helles, and FARMENTRY’s “Dark Mild - Nitro ver.-.” The nitro version should offer a smooth texture alongside the malt-forward character expected from a dark mild.
Other selections are Novoru Brewing’s “SOUR TIME! Hyuganatsu ver.,” VERTERE’s “Osumunda,” APE BREWING’s “Mogitate - Infused Sudachi ver.-,” and Pizza Port’s “Summer Sunlight.” The sudachi-infused West Coast IPA offers a particularly distinctive pairing option, combining citrus freshness with hop bitterness.
Evolve’s appeal extends beyond its taps. The pub serves spice-focused food, including lamb saag curry, Sri Lankan-style sardine curry, and a variety of spring rolls. Its menu is designed to work naturally with beer, while permanent Minoh Beer availability adds another reason for craft beer fans to visit Mukojima.
On September 19–20, Evolve will take part in Toyohashi Awa Awa Awaー, serving five varieties of spice skewers alongside Kinmiya shochu as a supporting drink. Thirteen breweries from across Japan are scheduled to participate, offering plenty of opportunities to explore beer and spice pairings.
