"MITSU" Debuts as April's Seasonal Beer

Brasserie Knot is a brewery created by renovating an old elementary school in Tsurui Village, Hokkaido. On its official website, the brewery says it offers a wide range of seasonal beers in addition to its five regular core beers, with a lineup designed to be enjoyed according to the season, the meal, and the occasion.

The beer introduced on Instagram this time was "MITSU," April's seasonal beer. The post title indicated that it is 6% ABV, positioning it as a limited seasonal release. While the detailed tasting notes in the post could not be confirmed, what runs through Brasserie Knot's overall approach to brewing is a balance that expresses individuality without becoming overly assertive.

In the "ABOUT" section of its official website, the brewery explains that it holds the vision of "Connecting with beer. Connecting through beer." and aims to be a place that creates bonds with the region, culture, and people. Another defining feature is that it continues brewing in the nature-rich environment of Tsurui Village while operating a directly managed shop that visitors can tour. Seasonal limited releases can be seen as a way to reflect that sense of place and the brewery's philosophy in short cycles.

"MITSU," released in April, is a beer to enjoy as an extension of the brewery's signature "clear flavor." Through its seasonal expression, different from the core lineup, you can get a sense of this brewery's design philosophy and the current state of craft beer being sent out from Tsurui Village.
