Brasserie Knot, based in Tsurui Village, Hokkaido, is presenting NoMaps’26 as its September seasonal beer. The beer is a collaboration with NoMaps, an urban festival held in Sapporo, and has an alcohol content of 5.5%. Its listed ingredients are malt and hops.

NoMaps’26 is described as a wheat lager. Drawing inspiration from the 2026 NoMaps theme, “Galapagos,” the recipe layers the gentle softness of wheat with aromas from newer Southern Hemisphere hops. A clean lager profile provides the foundation, while tropical fruit and white-floral nuances gradually emerge in the aroma and finish.

The beer is designed to remain easy-drinking while retaining a distinct aromatic character. Its crisp structure should make it suitable for pairing with food, while its connection to a multidisciplinary cultural festival gives it an added sense of occasion.

Brasserie Knot brews in Tsurui Village, next to the Kushiro Wetland in eastern Hokkaido. The brewery operates from a renovated former elementary school, repurposing the site as a place where visitors can observe the brewing process. Its name, “Knot,” reflects the brewery’s aim to connect beer with people, culture, and nature.

The brewery says its beers are intended to blend into the atmosphere of eastern Hokkaido rather than dominate it, serving as companions to food and other cultural experiences. Alongside five core beers, Brasserie Knot produces a wide range of seasonal releases. NoMaps’26 fits naturally into that approach: it links the village’s brewing identity with Sapporo’s creative and cultural scene.

The beer is unfiltered and should be kept refrigerated. Yeast or other sediment may appear. Availability and retailers should be confirmed through Brasserie Knot’s official channels.
