Mya Brew, based in Chikusa Ward, Nagoya, introduced a three-way collaboration beer with TOYO STYLE and Koshitantan: “Qu'est-ce que la richesse?” It is a mikan fruit ale built with fresh mandarin juice, hops, and lager yeast.
Nagoya-based Mya Brew, from Chikusa Ward in Aichi, has introduced a three-way collaboration beer with TOYO STYLE and Koshitantan: "Qu'est-ce que la richesse?"
According to the post, the beer is a Mikan Fruit Ale with 4.5% ABV and IBU 25+. It uses carefully pressed mikan juice, then gets dry-hopped with Amarillo and Styrian Kolibri to layer bright citrus aroma over the sweet scent of Japanese mandarin.
The brewery also highlights a clean profile from lager yeast and a cloudy orange appearance that recalls mikan fruit. Rather than aiming for obvious sweetness, the beer is presented as something easy to drink while talking, with a balance that makes you want another glass.
As a brewery rooted in Chikusa Ward, Nagoya, Mya Brew adds a playful name and a clearly citrus-driven recipe to this collaboration. It is a good example of how craft beer can combine local character, aroma design, and drinkability in a single glass.
