Myaa Brew, a craft brewery and beer bar in Nagoya’s Chikusa Ward, has released “Medetashisshi,” a celebratory beer brewed for the birthday of the manager of its sister venue, Beer Bar Marble.

The beer is a Smoothie Sour with an ABV of 4.4%. Peach was used generously at the request of the guest of honor, joined by pineapple, passion fruit, and Japanese pear for a four-fruit recipe with an autumnal touch. According to the brewery’s announcement, the beer has a thick, smooth mouthfeel balanced by moderate acidity and pours a vivid coral pink.

The fruit-forward recipe suggests an aromatic and expressive sour, while the acidity should help keep the rich texture from feeling overly heavy. Myaa Brew presents it as a beer for birthday celebrations, but also as a reason to raise a glass on an otherwise ordinary day.

“Medetashisshi” is available in limited quantities, so beer fans interested in fruit-driven sour ales will want to check availability early. The tap list also included several Myaa Brew beers, such as Berry Berry Happy, Neko no Koban, Hirago Mada yo Leon-kun, Mikeneko Lager, and Nagoya Union 2026, offering a broad range of styles alongside the new release.

Myaa Brew operates a brewery and taproom on Kandacho in Nagoya’s Chikusa Ward. Its sister venue, Beer Bar Marble, is located in Tenpaku Ward. The two venues share a focus on approachable craft beer, with Myaa Brew serving house-brewed beers alongside guest selections from breweries in Japan and abroad.
