Mya-Brew Taps New "GOse WOMEN" Brew Dedicated to the Nagoya Marathon
Aichi and Nagoya brewery Mya-Brew reported on Instagram on March 10, 2026 that it had tapped its new release, "GOse WOMEN (Contemporary Honey&Lemon Gose)," timed with the Nagoya Women's Marathon & City Marathon. It is characterized by a brisk acidity and a design built around honey and lemon.
The craft brewery "Mya-Brew" in Aichi Prefecture announced its new "GOse WOMEN (Contemporary Honey&Lemon Gose)" in a post made at 17:51 on March 10, 2026. The post positioned the beer as a "glass to help with recovery" for participants in the Nagoya Women's Marathon & City Marathon, and described a recipe aimed at a drinking experience reminiscent of a sports drink, even while remaining beer.
The key point this time is balance: instead of pushing the salty character typical of Gose to the front, the beer was designed for easy drinkability. By layering the bright aroma of Meyer lemon with two kinds of honey that each have different personalities, the brewery says it created a finish that lingers in the mouth. The style is listed as Contemporary Honey&Lemon Gose, and the alcohol content is 5.0%.
In the same post, the brewery also announced that the beer was included in the day's draft list and had started pouring on tap. It also mentioned takeout bottles with the shop's original design. While clearly presenting the beer as a post-race drink, the brewery positions it as a "modern Gose" that does not push the acidity too far, making it easy to choose either with food or on its own.
Mya-Brew is a brewery based in Kanda-cho, Chikusa Ward, Nagoya City, and it regularly shares information about local events and beer festivals. This new release also appears to be a locally rooted beer that connects Nagoya's major sports events with the city's craft beer culture.
