The Chikusa Ward, Nagoya brewery Mya Brew will set up at the event "Ohigashi Hiokoshi" held at Higashibetsuin.

In an Instagram post, Mya Brew is introduced as a small brewery that brews on the first floor of an apartment building, a 7-minute walk north from Imaike Station. Its signature is a pleasantly sharp, refreshing acidity. Building on that, it aims to pursue a wide range of expression by also adding styles that make use of seasonal ingredients.

It does not pursue mass production, and it is also characterized by a stance that does not compromise on ingredients or effort. The post explains that it carefully and joyfully brews while valuing "drinkability" - the kind that makes you want to keep having glass after glass. It can be described as a brewery that aims for beers that reveal their contours more and more the farther you drink, rather than relying on flashy impact.

The event will be held on May 9, 2026 at Shinshu Otani-ha Nagoya Betsuin (Higashibetsuin). Hours are 18:30 to 22:30, with advance tickets at 1,800 yen and same-day tickets at 2,000 yen. Both include 300 yen worth of coins. It should be a chance to taste the beer at the venue and confirm Mya Brew's character on the spot.
