Nara Brewing (Nara) has published information on the first shipment destinations for its Hazy IPA "CHARM." As of March 7, the announcement lists only liquor retailers for the initial shipment, in no particular order, without honorifics, and excluding stores that are not publicly disclosed.

Flavor Design for "CHARM"

According to the official announcement, CHARM is a hop-forward Hazy IPA. At its core are New Zealand-grown Peacharine and Nelson Sauvin, with Citra layered in to create a fruity aroma reminiscent of white peach and passion fruit. The concept is "a Hazy IPA that feels distinctly like Nara Brewing and won't wear you out to drink." Rather than relying solely on juiciness, it is designed to strike a balance that makes it easy to keep going for another glass.

First Shipment Stores and Sales Timing

The shipment destinations span 30 stores from Hokkaido to Fukuoka. In addition to major shops in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nara, the list also includes locations in Kyoto, Kanagawa, Aichi, Ishikawa, and more. Within Nara Prefecture, the lineup includes Okinaya Honten, Nishinokyo Jizake-dokoro Kitora, Kintetsu Department Store Nara, Yamatoji, Nobori Sake Shop, Sake no Abetaya, and ROOSTER.

Store arrival dates and inventory availability vary by shop, so it is safest to confirm directly with each retailer before purchasing. Nara Brewing's online store is also scheduled to begin sales at noon on March 13.

About Nara Brewing

Nara Brewing is a brewery based in Nara City, founded in 2017. Under the theme of "the appeal of having distinctive beers by region," it has continued to propose a wide range of styles without compromising on quality. True to the attitude reflected in its name, which carries the place name itself, CHARM looks set to be a new release that brings a strong "made in Nara" presence to the rest of the country.
