Eight beers on tap from 3 p.m.
Himalaya table, a beer pub located in Uchikanda, Chiyoda, Tokyo, will begin service at 3 p.m. on October 17. Known for pairing craft beer with Nepalese food, the pub has announced an eight-beer lineup for the day.
Minoh Beer’s KANSHA29-Rice IPA leads the list, offering a rice-based IPA option for drinkers interested in hop character with a lighter grain profile.
Kiden Setsu contributes five beers: Sicilian Rouge Tomato, Kuro Oni Stout Kato SP Ver. Mk2, NEW Kuma Oni IPA, Kin Oni Pale Ale “Nectaron Single Ver.”, and Akkiyama Bitter III. The selection spans an unusual tomato beer, a roasty stout, hop-forward IPA, pale ale, and bitter, giving guests plenty of styles to compare.
The lineup also includes Nara Brewing’s IMITATION GOLD (Sour IPA) and Baeren’s Classic. The sour IPA adds a bright acidity, while Classic offers a more traditional beer profile. Together, the taps cover a broad range of flavors and should provide several pairing possibilities with the pub’s Nepalese dishes.
Himalaya table is on the second floor of Daido Building in Uchikanda. Guests planning to visit should check the pub’s latest service and tap availability before heading out, as beer availability may change.
