October 15 tap list

Beer Cafe Gambrinus, a beer pub in Minami, Kokubunji, Tokyo, is open from 5:00 p.m. to midnight on October 15, with last orders at 11:00 p.m.

The featured beer is Nara Brewing’s Annuity, a brown ale lightly scented with azuki beans and condensed milk. The pub describes its sweet profile as reminiscent of a melted azuki ice bar. Only one keg is available.

The on-tap selection also includes Yokohama Bay Brewing’s Saaz 419, a Czech-style pale lager; Ise Kadoya Beer’s Ohisama Ale; and Nomcraft’s Ghost Panda, a hazy IPA. Other pours include Numazu Hazy IPA from Repubrew, Prismar from Gangi Brewing, and Sanktgallen’s Japanese Pear Weizen.

The list continues with Y Market’s modern West Coast IPA Yoriai Nagoya Union, Outsider’s Oktoberfestbier, West Coast Brewing’s Twelve as One, and Ushitora’s Oenological Hopster IPA served through a hand pump. Fruit-forward and dark options include Onidensetsu’s Framboise Saison East, Miyazaki Hideji Beer’s flavored stout Kuri Kuro, and Pilsner Urquell.

Coming soon are Baird Beer’s Country Girl Pumpkin Ale, Hino Brewing’s hazy IPA Big Time Ale, Kakegawa Farm’s Apricot Saison, and Kunitachi Brewery’s Weizen Michikakeru Sekai.

Located near Kokubunji Station, Gambrinus offers counter, table, and standing space, making it a practical stop for exploring a varied Japanese craft-beer lineup. Since Annuity is limited to one keg, beer fans may want to check availability early.
