Falò Brewing to Join Shibuya 2DAYS in March and a Local Yamamoto Event
Falò Brewing in Yamamoto, Miyagi has announced its event schedule for March. On March 14 and 15, it will hold a joint TAP TAKE OVER with Atsumi Peninsula Brewing at AKUBI in Shibuya, Tokyo, and on March 21 it will set up at a local market at the former Sakamoto Junior High School, the brewery's location.
Falò Brewing announced on Instagram at 17:01 on March 3 a lineup of events that connects both the Tokyo metropolitan area and its home base in Miyagi. The post title was brief, just "❤️🔥👀...", but the details were quite specific. For drinkers, it opens up a much broader chance to try the brewery's beers.
March 14 and 15: Joint TAP TAKE OVER in Shibuya
The venue is AKUBI in Shibuya. The shop serves craft beer and Taiwanese hot pot, and Falò Brewing and Atsumi Peninsula Brewing from Aichi will hold a two-day joint event. It starts at 15:00. On both days, beers from the two breweries will be connected to the taps half and half, and the lineup will be significantly changed between Saturday and Sunday. Rather than visiting just one day, it could be fun to come both days and compare the beers.
March 21: Booth at Yamamoto Town's "Harvest Lamp"
On March 21, the brewery will participate in "Harvest Lamp - Yamamoto Good Things Market -" held at the former Sakamoto Junior High School in Yamamoto, Miyagi. Hours are 10:00 to 15:00. The post says it is an event gathering food, sake, and handmade goods from Yamamoto Town. What stands out is that Falò Brewing explicitly says this will be the first time it directly serves beer there. For fans who have been waiting for a local point of contact, this is an opportunity not to miss.
Falò Brewing is a brewery based in Miyagi. This announcement also shows its stance of strengthening both its ability to communicate in urban areas and its ties to the local community. The post also previews that Brewery Open Day is planned from April. While taking part in the March events, it will be worth following what comes next.
