Beer pub craft beer "Extra Hop" in Chuo-machi, Oita City, has announced a fresh tap update.
The highlight is TOPA TOPA’s limited 11th-anniversary IPA, COPA TOPA 11th Anniversary. Inspired by the recently held World Cup, the beer was brewed with a blend of seven hop varieties from seven participating countries. It offers an opportunity to explore how hops from different origins combine in aroma, bitterness, and overall balance.
Also newly tapped is Minoh Beer’s Japanese Peach Weizen, made with Shimizu Hakuto peaches. This is the third release in the brewery’s Peach Weizen series, pairing the soft, gentle character of a wheat beer with the fragrant profile of Japanese peaches.
Falo Brewing’s IPA OBAKE remains on tap as well, although the post notes that the keg is close to being finished. Guests hoping to try it may want to visit soon.
Located on the first floor of Okuno Hosomichi Building in Chuo-machi, Extra Hop is a compact beer pub where guests can enjoy craft beer while chatting across the counter with the owner and fellow beer lovers. From September, its bar service runs from Wednesday through Saturday. During Silver Week, the opening schedule differs from usual, so checking the latest hours before visiting is recommended.
