At Mya-Brew in Chikusa Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi, a tap takeover by Let's Beer Works of Tokyo's Higashijujo will be held on May 9 and 10. In addition to six regular beers, the collaboration beer **sakura paw pads** will also be served, and a rock-paper-scissors tournament with merchandise prizes is also planned for both days.
At Mya-Brew in Chikusa Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi, a Let's Beer Works Tap Takeover will be held on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10. The post says the venue opens at 12:00 p.m., and that guests can enjoy six beers from Let's Beer Works plus one collaboration beer.
The lineup for the day will be these seven beers:
- HOPPY HUE (Hoppy Lager)
- LEAN WEST (IPA)
- Heavy Swing (Juicy IPA)
- HEFE WEISSE (Weizen)
- 1759 (Irish Dry Stout)
- Southbound (NZ IPA)
- sakura paw pads (Hazy Sour Ale)
The collaboration beer sakura paw pads is introduced in Mya-Brew's post as a commemorative collaboration, and brewer Tim, who helped make the beer together at Let's Beer Works in Tokyo, is also expected to visit. Having the brewer on site should make it a valuable chance to hear directly about the beer's background and design intent.
In addition, on Saturday, May 9 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 10 at 4:00 p.m., there will also be a rock-paper-scissors tournament with original Let's Beer Works merchandise as prizes. It's set up not just as a tasting event, but as something to enjoy as an occasion in its own right.
Mya-Brew is a brewery in Kanda-cho, Chikusa Ward, Nagoya City. This project, which brings a Tokyo brewery to a local base, is drawing attention as an event where people can experience the character of a distant brewery in Nagoya. Let's Beer Works, based in Higashijujo, also offers a wide range of styles from hop-forward lagers to hazy sour ales, so this tap takeover should let guests enjoy that range as-is.
The event runs for two days, on May 9 and 10. Whether you're after the tap list or want to learn the story behind the collaboration, it looks like a weekend that connects Higashijujo and Nagoya over a pint at Mya-Brew.
