Nara Brewing (Kitanosho Nishimachi, Nara City) has unveiled its new beer “HOORAY!,” a collaboration with EATBEAT!. The beer is being presented as a label co-created to liven up the venue for “Mori, Michi, Ichiba 2026.”

HOORAY! is a gose made with daidai orange and salt from Awaji. On Nara Brewing’s official page, the beer is described as combining salt to bring out the aroma and acidity of Awaji daidai, a primitive citrus variety discovered on Awaji Island about 300 years ago. The hops are Mandarina Bavaria, the malts are Pale Ale Malt and Wheat Malt Pale, and coriander is also added for aroma and flavor, giving the style a clear outline.

The main specs are as follows.

- Style: GOSE w/AWAJI DAIDAI
- ABV: 4.0%
- IBU: 9
- Ingredients: Awaji daidai, salt, coriander
- Release year: 2026

The tasting notes say that the refreshing aroma of Awaji daidai comes forward first, followed by a broad spread of acidity from the daidai and yeast, while the soft mouthfeel from the wheat malt supports it. A subtle saltiness finishes the aftertaste, leaving the light, brisk impression typical of a gose.

Nara Brewing is a brewery that has long focused on making beers that reflect the character of each region while staying rooted in Nara. Founded in 2017, the company treats collaboration not simply as a limited release, but as a way to capture the character of ingredients and place in beer. HOORAY! is another beer that clearly reflects that approach.

At present, the official page does not list a specific release date. As a move toward Mori, Michi, Ichiba 2026, attention will be on what comes next.
