Nara Brewing, based in Nara City, has revealed the initial shipment stores for its American IPA "LOCOMOTION." The brewery says it has created a juicy IPA built on the West Coast IPA style, with a crisp citrus-hop aroma and tropical notes. The specs are ABV 6.5% and IBU 25. Hops used are Mosaic, Simcoe, and Citra, and the beer's color is Pale Gold.

In the tasting notes, the beer is described as opening with grapefruit-like citrus aromas, followed by tropical fruit notes led by pineapple. Bitterness is restrained, the mouthfeel is soft, and the finish fades gently. It is an approachable IPA that showcases layered aroma in a manner typical of Nara Brewing.
