Mahou Brew (Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture) introduced "Entry of the Wizards into Valhalla <DDH Oat Cream DIPA>." The style is DDH Oat Cream DIPA, with an alcohol content of 8.0% and 13 IBU. It is a beer designed with a thick, full-bodied mouthfeel in mind, using oats and lactose.

Recipe Features

This beer uses North Star, Flaked Oats, and Malted Oats. The hops selected are Centennial, Idaho 7, Idaho7 Cryo, Sabro Cryo, and DynaBoost Sabro. These hops are used in the whirlpool stage, and dry hopping is carried out in two large additions.

Flavor Direction

According to the brewery, it delivers peach- and coconut-like aromas and flavors from the hops, along with a rich and creamy mouthfeel from the oats. It is crafted to combine the bright, aromatic character of DDH with the smoothness typical of an oat cream beer, making both aroma and texture enjoyable.
