Kumazawa Brewing will host Kumazawa Oktoberfest 2026 for three days from Oct. 10 (Sat.) to Oct. 12 (Mon., holiday) at its brewery in Kagawa, Chigasaki, Kanagawa. The event runs from 11:00 a.m. daily; hours are 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Oct. 10 and 11, and 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Oct. 12.
The main draw this year is a lineup of 25 beers. Alongside core offerings, the brewery will pour limited releases as well, giving visitors a chance to sample a wide range of beers that Shonan Beer has released over the year. Shonan Beer is brewed unfiltered and unpasteurized, with live yeast still in the beer, which is central to its fresh character.
Advance tickets are required, and sales begin on Aug. 24 (Mon.). Tickets will be sold at selected Kumazawa locations and through e+. The event uses a coupon-based system for exchanging food and drinks, and the restaurant areas and garden on the brewery grounds are included in the festival zone. The bakery, okeba, and the brewery shop "Chikashitsu" will remain open under normal operations. For beer fans, it is a clear chance to experience a milestone year for a local brewery that has built its identity in Chigasaki.
