Kumazawa Brewery Announces Oktoberfest 2026 for Shonan Beer’s 30th Anniversary
Kumazawa Brewery has announced its annual Oktoberfest will be held from October 10 to 12, 2026. This year marks the 30th anniversary of Shonan Beer, and the event will feature 25 beers, special festival dishes, and advance ticket sales only.
Shonan Beer marks 30 years
Kumazawa Brewery announced on August 28 that its annual Oktoberfest will return in 2026. The event is scheduled for October 10 (Sat) through October 12 (Mon, national holiday), 2026, with opening hours from 11:00 to 20:00. On the final day, October 12, the event will end at 19:00, with last orders at 18:30.
This year carries special meaning for the brewery: Shonan Beer celebrates its 30th anniversary. To mark the occasion, Kumazawa says it will prepare 25 different beers, making the event a chance to taste nearly the full range of beers the brewery produces over the course of a year. Special Oktoberfest-only food items will also be offered.
Shonan Beer is Kumazawa Brewery’s unfiltered, non-heat-treated beer, brewed to preserve a fresh, living yeast character. Based in Chigasaki, Kanagawa, the brewery has built a long-standing reputation for pairing local roots with a broad beer lineup, and this event is positioned as a snapshot of that brewing identity.
Advance tickets required
Admission requires an advance ticket. The brewery says same-day ticket sales will generally not be available, and advance tickets are already on sale.
With Shonan Beer’s milestone anniversary and Kumazawa Brewery’s long-running festival coming together, the 2026 Oktoberfest is shaping up to be a focused tasting event for beer fans who want breadth as well as seasonal atmosphere.
