A tropical Hazy IPA arrives in Nakano
Craft beer pub Citraba Nakano in Tokyo is serving “Reworkable Cities,” a Hazy IPA from Barebottle Brewing.
According to the shop’s announcement, this is a barrel-only beer originally made for taprooms in the brewery’s local market. It is described as intensely tropical, evoking a tropical destination just a short distance away. With almost no bitterness and a sweet profile, it should appeal to drinkers who prefer softer, fruit-forward Hazy IPAs. The beer has reportedly already attracted repeat pours from customers.
Other beers listed as running low at the time of the announcement include Ise Kadoya Brewery’s “Hime White,” Shonan Beer’s “Mango Sour Ale,” 50&50’s “KALOPSIA,” Gigantic’s “Party Wave,” and Swan Lake’s “IPA.” Availability may change quickly, so guests looking for a particular beer may want to check with the bar before visiting.
Citraba Nakano is a craft beer pub located on the first floor of Taniguchi Building in Nakano 5-chome. It opens from late afternoon on weekdays and earlier on weekends, making it suitable for an after-work pint or a relaxed weekend beer stop. With new beers expected to arrive, the rotating tap list is another reason for beer fans to keep an eye on the Nakano location.
