Banri no Haru Brewery, also known as Banri no Haru Shuzo, is based in Tondabayashi, Osaka, inside a renovated former sake brewery. The brewery describes its beer as being made with well water long referred to locally as "golden water," pairing the character of a historic building with ingredients rooted in the region.

In its latest Instagram post, the brewery introduced a Strawberry Sour Ale made with plenty of strawberries from Iwai Farm, a strawberry grower in Sakai’s Mihara Ward. The recipe is designed around acidity from yeast-derived lactic acid, layered with strawberry’s sweet-tart aroma and a vivid color. Its specs are listed as ABV 5%, IBU 5, and SRM 3, pointing to a bright, approachable beer.

Distribution begins through keg wholesale only. The post notes that tapping at the Banri no Haru Beer Hall will come later, and that the beer will not be sold in cans. It also lists other keg-available beers such as Golden Ale, Lemon Saison, Pale Ale, IPA, Amber Ale, Stout, and Sake Ale, showing the brewery’s broader wholesale lineup.

This release fits the brewery’s usual approach: using seasonal fruit, local water, and a restored sake-brewery setting to build beers with a clear regional identity. The Strawberry Sour Ale is another example of that direction.
