A brewery revived from a historic sake cellar

Banri no Haru Brewing traces its roots to Banri no Haru Sake Brewery, a sake producer known in Osaka’s Kawachi region since the early Meiji period. After the original brewery closed, the historic building was renovated and revived as a brewery and beer hall.

The brewery makes its craft beer with well water sourced from the underground water system of Mount Kongo, once known locally as “golden water.” Its beer hall combines the atmosphere of the old cellar with views of the brewing equipment and fresh beer.

The anniversary festival will also feature the tapping of a third-anniversary beer, a bingo event with prizes, and special benefits for Tondabayashi residents. Reservations are not available, and shared seating may be requested during busy periods.
