On May 16, Nara Brewing, the craft beer maker based in Nara City, announced the first shipment destinations for its hoppy pilsner 'KIP.' Nara Brewing's official website also lists 'KIP' as a hoppy pilsner, positioning it as one of the company's beers that puts hop character front and center.

This version of 'KIP' has returned in response to requests for a re-release that came in after its 2024 release. By newly adopting Wet Hop, it is said to offer a green, fresh aroma, resulting in a lively, seasonal beer with a crisp drinking impression.

The first shipment destinations span liquor stores, department stores, and restaurants in Akita, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Oita, and other areas. Within Nara Prefecture, the lineup includes Kintetsu Department Store Nara Branch Yamatoji, Nishinokyo Jizake-dokoro Kitora, Higashikawa Saketen, Toto Saketen, and Sake no Abetaya, making it easy to find locally. Please note that arrival dates and sales status vary by store, so it is necessary to confirm before purchasing.

Nara Brewing's online store is scheduled to begin sales at noon on Friday, May 22. First in stores, then online, 'KIP' can be followed as one of the company's seasonal products. It will also be interesting to see how this beer brewed in Nara expresses the aroma derived from Wet Hop.
