Nara Brewing, based in Nara City, has announced "ECHOES," a collaboration beer with EATBEAT! EATBEAT! is a project led by food pioneer Yusuke Hotta and musician Henry Work (CHALKBOY) that connects food, sound, and experiences.

This beer was brewed for "Mori, Michi, Ichiba 2025," which will be held from May 23 to 25, 2025 at Laguna Beach (Otsuka Seaside Park) in Gamagori, Aichi Prefecture. Nara Brewing will set up at the EATBEAT! area at the venue, offering a way to enjoy the event with a beer in hand.

"ECHOES" was designed as a fruit sour ale using passion fruit, mango, and tonka beans. According to Nara Brewing, coumarin contained in tonka beans is also a main component of the fragrance of Naranoyaezakura, the prefectural flower of Nara Prefecture, creating a composition in which tropical flavors are layered with a cherry blossom-like aroma. The alcohol content is 4.5%, and the IBU is 5.

The label design was created through a collaboration between butter's Genki Kubo, who handles Nara Brewing's design work, and CHALKBOY. At the venue, beer cocktails made with this collaboration beer and mocktails made with soda are also planned, and Nara Brewing says it will also be sold nationwide after the event. From the perspective of a brewery based in Nara, it has been put together as a drink that complements a music event.
