One-day event in front of Mino-Ota Station, with 10 Gifu breweries and 3 from outside the prefecture

"BEER ROAD MINOKAMO" will be held on March 14 from 11:00 to 19:00 at EKIPA, the plaza in front of the south exit of Mino-Ota Station. According to the information shared, the lineup consists of 10 breweries from Gifu Prefecture plus 3 guest breweries from outside the prefecture, and Yatsugatake Brewery is listed among those guests.

With its easy-to-access station-front location, the event lets visitors enjoy side-by-side tastings of local breweries and the distinct character of breweries from outside the prefecture. Food vendors are also planned for the venue, making this more than just a tasting event and designed so guests can enjoy beer alongside food pairings.

Yatsugatake Brewery joins from Kiyosato, Yamanashi

Yatsugatake Brewery is based in Kiyosato, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and operates under the "Yatsugatake Beer Touchdown" brand. While centering on its lager-based core beers, which it has brewed since its founding, the brewery has also actively produced seasonal releases and collaboration brews.

Its flagship beer, "Kiyosato Lager," won the world's highest award in the lager category at the World Beer Awards 2023. In recent years it has continued to build a record of competition success, and its careful approach grounded in traditional styles is likely to draw attention at the event as well.

The opening post signals the energy of a regional festival

As the word "opening" in the title of the Instagram post suggests, BEER ROAD MINOKAMO has launched as a place where visitors can experience the region's brewery culture all at once. By adding a strong guest like Yatsugatake Brewery to Gifu's already robust brewery scene, the lineup becomes even more diverse.

From a drinker's perspective, it's a single day where you can enjoy both the fun of seeking out familiar labels and the excitement of discovering new flavors from breweries outside the prefecture. As the gateway to spring festival season, this is an event worth checking out.
