Tasogare Lily Lists Three Craft Beers in Nagoya’s Minami Ward
Curry and Beer Tasogare Lily in Nagoya has announced a three-beer tap list featuring West Coast Brewing, Kyoto Brewing, and Yatsugatake Brewery. The beer pub pairs daytime drinking with spice-focused curry from noon.
Three beers on tap from Japanese breweries
Curry and Beer Tasogare Lily, a beer pub in Uchidaibashi, Nagoya’s Minami Ward, has updated its craft beer tap list.
The first beer is West Coast Brewing’s “Full Hop Alchemist X -2026-,” an 8.5% Hazy Double IPA with a substantial hop-forward profile. The second is “Game Night,” a collaboration between West Coast Brewing and Kyoto Brewing. At 7.5%, this West Coast Double IPA offers another full-bodied option.
The third beer is Yatsugatake Brewery’s “Touchdown Yamanashi Momo Weizen,” a 5.5% Weizen made with Yamanashi peach. Its fruit character provides a different direction from the two stronger, hop-driven IPAs.
Spice curry for a daytime beer session
The day’s curry selection includes Timut Chicken, Kabo Potage Keema, and Demi Pork. Timut, also known as Nepalese pepper, is described as having grapefruit- and lemongrass-like citrus aromas with a tingling sensation similar to Japanese pepper.
Tasogare Lily welcomes daytime drinking and also offers a 1,000-yen takeaway lunch. Frozen curry options include chicken curry, pork belly with lime, and South Indian-style chicken.
The restaurant opens from 12:00 to 14:00 for lunch and from 17:00 to 22:00 in the evening, closing on Mondays and Tuesdays. With its casual counter-focused setting, it is a natural stop for pairing draft craft beer with spice-rich curry.
