Yatsugatake Brewery Announces Three Consecutive Weeks of Events in Kiyosato
Yatsugatake Brewery has announced that it will begin participating in events held in Kiyosato for three consecutive weeks. The series offers beer enthusiasts a chance to enjoy Yatsugatake Beer Touchdown while exploring the autumn scenery of the Kiyosato highlands.
Yatsugatake Brewery, based in Kiyosato, Hokuto, Yamanashi, has announced a three-week series of event appearances in the Kiyosato area. In an official Instagram post, the brewery wrote that events in Kiyosato would begin that day and continue for three consecutive weeks, giving visitors repeated opportunities to enjoy its beers in the highland resort.
The brewery stands at approximately 1,230 meters above sea level in the Kiyosato Highlands. It uses natural water from the southern foothills of Mount Yatsugatake and follows a malt-centric approach focused on drawing out the richness and umami of malt. Its Yatsugatake Beer Touchdown range includes a variety of styles, such as Pilsner, Dunkel, and Weizen. Some releases also incorporate local rice, fruit, and other regional ingredients.
Yatsugatake Brewery’s history in Kiyosato dates back to 1997. Kazumi Yamada, who had worked in brewing development at Kirin Brewery, helped establish the brewery’s foundations. Since then, it has developed beers rooted in the local landscape and food culture. Together with the brewery restaurant ROCK in Moeginomura, it has become one of Kiyosato’s best-known craft beer destinations.
The Instagram announcement does not provide full details for each of the three events, including all venues and beer lineups. Visitors should check the brewery’s official social media channels and each event organizer’s latest announcements before making plans. For beer lovers, the series should be a good opportunity to pair a fresh local beer with the distinctive atmosphere of autumn in Kiyosato.
