Tokyo’s Okutama-based VERTERE has released a Hazy Pack on its online shop, featuring the new Hazy Pale Ale Fabiana and a fresh batch of the Hazy DIPA Artemisia. The set highlights vivid fruit-driven aromatics and a soft, hazy texture.
Okutama, Tokyo brewery VERTERE has released a new Hazy Pack through its online shop. The four-beer set includes Fabiana, the brewery’s new Hazy Pale Ale, and Artemisia, a fresh batch of its Hazy DIPA. It is a fitting release for a brewery that has built its identity around crafting beers in a green, water-rich setting away from the pace of central Tokyo.
Fabiana is a Hazy Pale Ale at 5.5% ABV and 15 IBU. VERTERE describes it with bright aromas of pineapple, mango, and peach, along with hints of lychee, mint, and cream candy. Wheat and oats give the beer a soft, juicy mouthfeel, while keeping the hop character vivid and expressive.
Artemisia takes a bigger step in strength at 8.5% ABV, but keeps bitterness low at 8 IBU. Its profile leans into grapefruit, passion fruit, and orange, with lemon and lime adding lift. Oats contribute to a smooth, silky texture, giving the beer a rounded finish despite the style’s richer body.
VERTERE brews on 2,000L and 4,000L systems and frames its work around changing the way people think about beer. That philosophy comes through clearly here: the two beers offer different intensities, but share the same focus on aroma, texture, and balance. For drinkers following VERTERE, this pack is an easy way to compare the brewery’s hazy approach side by side.
