A first market event at VERTERE’s Bottle Shop

VERTERE, the brewery and beer café based in Okutama, Tokyo, will hold “VERTERE Marche” on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event will take place at the brewery’s Brewery & Bottle Shop at 1099-6 Hikawa, Okutama, Nishitama District, Tokyo. According to the brewery, this will be its first market-style event.

The program will include an outlet sale featuring dented cans, glasses with air bubbles, display merchandise, and sample products. These items may appeal to fans looking for VERTERE beer and brewery goods at special prices. Outlet products cannot be returned or exchanged, so visitors are asked to check each item’s condition before purchasing.

Advance release of Jasius

One of the event highlights will be the advance sale of “Jasius,” a new Brett Mixed Berry Sour. The beer is listed at 9.0% ABV and will be sold in 500ml bottles. Combining Brett fermentation character with berry fruit notes, the release offers a glimpse of VERTERE’s broader approach to sour and mixed-culture brewing.

Four draft beers and gin soda will also be available. Drinks may be enjoyed in the outdoor area, while visitors may bring their own food, leisure sheets, and folding chairs. No food vendors or shuttle buses will be provided, and outside alcohol is not permitted.

The brewery also plans a shopping raffle: one entry will be available for every receipt totaling ¥5,000.

A compact event with practical restrictions

VERTERE describes the marche as a small-scale event. No chairs will be provided, and the only restrooms will be three facilities inside the Brewery & Bottle Shop. The brewing area itself will be off-limits. These details distinguish the event from a typical beer festival, so visitors should plan accordingly.

VERTERE brews in Okutama, an area known for its clean air, rich greenery, and natural water. The brewery has built its identity around the broader experience of where, when, and with whom beer is enjoyed. This first marche will offer a more intimate way to visit that setting, discover new releases, and browse brewery goods. Public transportation is recommended, and visitors are asked not to arrive before opening time.
