Moyamoya Base, a beer pub located in Minami 2-jo Higashi 1-chome, Sapporo, has announced a refreshed guest-beer lineup. Five beers from breweries across Japan are available on rotating taps, making the pub a good stop for drinkers who enjoy discovering something different from one visit to the next.
The current selection includes Otaru Beer’s “Fest,” NEKOBEER’s “Collab Golden Ale,” BLACK TIDE BREWING’s “KESENNUMA PRIDE,” GRANDLINE BREWING’s “Passion Voyage,” and VERTERE’s “Glopha.”
“Fest” recreates a Munich-style Festbier, offering a pronounced malt aroma and gentle sweetness. NEKOBEER’s “Collab Golden Ale” is a lighter option, with refreshing aromas and restrained bitterness.
For hop-focused drinkers, BLACK TIDE BREWING’s “KESENNUMA PRIDE” brings citrus notes alongside piney and dank hop character, with a malty, juicy palate. GRANDLINE BREWING’s “Passion Voyage” is a more substantial choice: an 8.0% Fruited Hazy Double IPA combining concentrated passion-fruit flavor with refreshing lime acidity.
VERTERE’s “Glopha” offers a darker finish. This 7.0% Chai Latte Stout uses Indian chai for a fresh, spicy aromatic profile.
