Five Craft Beers Pouring at Moya Moya Base in Sapporo
Moya Moya Base, a beer pub in Sapporo’s Chuo Ward, has announced a rotating lineup of five craft beers from breweries across Japan. The selection ranges from a German-inspired fest beer and IPA to a fruited hazy double IPA and chai latte stout.
Moya Moya Base, a beer pub located in Minami 2-jo Higashi 1-chome in Sapporo, is offering a rotating craft beer lineup. Because the kegs are replaced as they run out, the beers available may change depending on when guests visit.
The announced selection includes:
- Otaru Beer / Fest (Hokkaido, 5.0% ABV)
- NEKOBEER / Collaboration Golden Ale (Fukuoka)
- BLACK TIDE BREWING / KESENNUMA PRIDE (Miyagi, IPA, 6.5% ABV)
- GRANDLINE BREWING / Passion Voyage (Kanagawa, Fruited Hazy Double IPA, 8.0% ABV)
- VERTERE / Glopha (Tokyo, Chai Latte Stout, 7.0% ABV)
Otaru Beer’s Fest recreates the character of a Munich-style fest beer, with pronounced malt aroma and a touch of sweetness. NEKOBEER’s collaboration golden ale is described as refreshing, lightly bitter and easy to drink.
KESENNUMA PRIDE from BLACK TIDE BREWING combines citrus, piney and dank notes with a malty, juicy profile. For a fuller fruit expression, Passion Voyage from GRANDLINE BREWING layers intense passion fruit flavor with refreshing lime acidity in a hazy double IPA.
VERTERE’s Glopha takes a different direction as a stout made with Indian chai tea. Spices contribute a fresh, aromatic and pleasantly spicy character.
With five distinct styles available in one beer pub, Moya Moya Base offers a compact way to explore beers from Hokkaido, Tohoku, Kanto and Kyushu. Guests should check the pub for current availability, serving sizes and prices, as the keg lineup may change.
