Nara Brewing (Kitanosho Nishimachi, Nara City) is a craft beer brewery founded in 2017. Under the banner of 'the joy of choosing beer,' it continues to brew beers with an emphasis on combining styles and carefully designing aromas.

The newly released 'SPIRAL' is an American Belgo-style ale. With an ABV of 6.0% and IBU 20, it uses Hüll Melon, Azacca, and Hallertau Blanc as its hops. In a post, it is introduced as a beer whose flavor layers the aromas of ripe melon, papaya, and white grapes with the spiciness derived from saison yeast. When you take a sip, a refreshing bitterness with a fruity character lingers in the finish.

Nara Brewing is also a brewery that has long worked with this style. Its standard product 'FUNCTION' is also a beer in the same vein, and this 'SPIRAL' is one bottle in that lineage. The post also explains that it belongs to the same family as 'PASCAL,' 'AXIS,' 'ANGLE,' 'OVAL,' and 'PRISM' that it has brewed in the past, showing that by changing the hop combination, the aroma impression can change greatly even within the same American Belgo style.

Sales will be offered in kegs and 350 ml cans. Business e-commerce sales are scheduled to begin on April 20 at 12:00, and general e-commerce sales are scheduled to begin on April 24 at 12:00. This is a new release that feels quintessentially Nara Brewing, proposing a wide range of aromas and styles from its Nara base, and it deserves attention.
