Okinawa-based MAHOWBREW, located in Naha, has released a new beer titled Solstice Echoes on. It is batch 0083 and comes as a West Coast IPA with 7.5% ABV, 54 IBU, 1.008 FG, and 3 SRM.

The release is notable because MAHOWBREW describes it as its first West Coast IPA. The hop bill includes Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic, Strata CGX, DynaBoost Mosaic, and HyperBoost Mosaic. According to the brewery, the beer delivers vivid tropical aromas reminiscent of mango, papaya, and passion fruit.

The malt base is built with North Star and Flaked Rice, creating a dry and crisp body. On the palate, MAHOWBREW says the beer opens with classic pine and woody notes, then finishes with a firm, satisfying bitterness.

MAHOWBREW, based in Naha, Okinawa, has been releasing a wide range of beers across styles such as Gose, Stout, and IPA. This new beer adds another chapter to that lineup, while leaning more directly into the sharp, hop-forward profile associated with West Coast IPA.

With its mix of tropical hop character, clean body, and assertive bitterness, Solstice Echoes on presents a straightforward but layered expression of the style, and a clear statement from the brewery’s IPA program.
