Nagano Minamikaze Beer, a brewpub in Nagano City, used Instagram to share a summer food update and an upcoming event appearance. In the post, the brewery said it had found fresh-looking edamame during its morning shopping run and planned to serve it boiled with salt. It also mentioned sake-steamed clams, suggesting a simple menu suited to humid weather.

The brewery is located within walking distance of Nagano Station. Its official site says the business was established in December 2021 and obtained its brewing license in April 2022. The taproom has a sea-inspired blue interior, and guests can watch the brewing tanks from the counter while drinking. The food menu also leans on local ingredients such as Shinshu salmon, lamb sausage from Shinshu Shinmachi, and Shinshu cured ham.

Regional ingredients are also central to the beer program. The brewery has brewed beers using Nagano produce such as apples, soba, peaches and apricots. A listing from Japan Hop Map also notes core offerings such as fruit ale, soba tea ale and IPA, showing a lineup built around both approachable styles and local character.

The same post announced that Nagano Minamikaze Beer will join the Shinshu Kitchen Car Night Beer Fest at Shiratorien in Togura, Chikuma City, from July 31 to August 2. For local beer fans, it is another chance to see the brewery outside its taproom and try its seasonal food and beer in a festival setting.
