Nagano Minamikaze Beer traces its roots to a standing bar opened in Namamugi, Yokohama, in 2010. The operation moved to Nagano City in 2016, opened its current brewpub in the Shindencho area in 2021, and obtained its brewing license in April 2022. Located about an eight-minute walk from Nagano Station, the brewpub allows guests to enjoy house-made beer and food while viewing the brewing tanks.
The brewery also incorporates ingredients from Nagano and the wider Shinshu region, producing beers featuring buckwheat, apples, apricots and tomatoes. For beer lovers planning an autumn outing, these three events provide an opportunity to explore Nagano craft beer beyond the brewery’s home city.
