Yatsugatake Brewery announced on Instagram that it will be exhibiting at Craft Gyoza Festival 2026 in Tokyo and THE MEAT OSAKA 2026 in Osaka. At the venues, the brewery will offer a festival-exclusive Yuzu Kosho Lager and run events through May 6.
Yatsugatake Brewery announced on Instagram that it will be exhibiting at Tokyo's "Craft Gyoza Festival 2026" and Osaka's "THE MEAT OSAKA 2026." In the post, 102 and Futami will join Team Gyoza at the Tokyo venue, while Iino and Shin will be part of Team Meat at the Osaka venue, serving beer at each location.
The highlight is the festival-only "Yuzu Kosho Lager" for the Gyoza Festival and Meat Festival. The post describes it as an "ultra-limited beer" available only during the festival period, and says it is already well received. The drink combines the aroma of yuzu kosho with the crispness of a lager, making it a design suited for events and meant to pair with gyoza and meat dishes.
Yatsugatake Brewery is a brewery located at an altitude of 1,230 meters in Kiyosato Plateau, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Since its founding in 1997, it has emphasized bringing out the richness and umami of malt, and has used traditional German decoction brewing in its process. Under the flagship pilsner and other core and seasonal beers, it operates the "Yatsugatake Beer Touchdown" series.
This post highlights how the brewery's signature malty beers can be enjoyed at outdoor food events. The event runs through May 6. It will be interesting to see how the limited lager is received at both the gyoza and meat venues.
