Nagano-based brewery and brewpub Nagano Minamikaze Beer has shared photos of a brewing task involving freshly squeezed peaches. The post shows the fruit being pressed before its juice is added to the brewing process.
Peach juice can contribute a soft, fragrant fruit character and a fresh impression alongside the malt and hop profile of a beer. The brewery has not yet announced the beer’s name, style, release date, peach variety, or other details.
Nagano Minamikaze Beer traces its roots to a standing bar established in Yokohama in 2010. After relocating to Nagano, it opened its current brewpub in December 2021 and obtained its brewing license in April 2022. The brewery aims to create beers featuring agricultural products from Shinshu and to help establish craft beer as part of Nagano City’s local culture.
Located about an eight-minute walk from Nagano Station, the brewpub allows guests to enjoy house-made beer while viewing the brewing tanks from the counter. Its food menu includes dishes made with local ingredients such as Shinshu salmon and lamb sausages from Shinshu-Shinmachi.
