Mahou Brew announced the release of its new beer, "In the Hall of the Mountain Magus," on Instagram. The style is DDH Hazy IPA. According to the post, this is the third batch, including the first batch made at Phantom, and the recipe has been updated.

The beer is based on Premium Two Row Malt, Malted Oats, and Flaked Oats, with Galaxy, Superdelic, Cryo Pop, and DynaBoost Mosaic. The yeast used is WLP4000. It also includes Phantasm Powder, made from the skins of Sauvignon Blanc grapes, and was dry-hopped twice, once during fermentation and once after fermentation.

In the tasting notes posted, grapefruit peel nuances are layered with stone-fruit aromas such as peach and mango, while the flavor is designed to add grassy and dank character to the juiciness. The mouthfeel is described as "very creamy," and the finished beer is said to have a stronger hop presence than the previous batch.

Sales begin on March 19 at 3:00 PM. It will be announced through the business online store and the general online store, and the beer will also be tapped at the brewery's directly operated shop. Takeout for retail customers will also be available.
