Exhibiting at the Keyaki Spring Beer Fest
Yatsugatake Brewery (Hokuto, Yamanashi) announced on Instagram that it will be exhibiting at the "Keyaki Spring Beer Fest." The venue is Saitama Super Arena, and the event runs from May 13 to 17. The first day is scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; the following days run from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and the final day ends at 8:00 p.m.
What stands out in this post is the offering of "102 Karaage," making its Keyaki debut. The post introduces it as a dish to enjoy alongside beer, highlighting a pairing that feels uniquely suited to the event. Yatsugatake Brewery will make its presence felt not only through beer, but also through its food offerings.
Yatsugatake Brewery is a brewery located in Kiyosato Highlands at an elevation of 1,230 meters, and it has continued making beer using the pristine natural water from the southern foothills of the Yatsugatake Mountains. Since its founding in 1997, it has used the traditional decoction method to bring out the character of the malt, and it develops the "Yatsugatake Beer Touchdown" series centered on lagers.
This exhibition also looks set to offer a chance to experience that brewing philosophy at the venue. Being able to enjoy a standard pint while pairing it with event-limited karaage is likely to be a highlight that beer fans will not want to miss.
