Forest Brewing Sets Up a Tent Booth at Beer Fes Fukushima, Offering Two Limited-Edition Beers
Forest Brewing of Kawasaki Town, Miyagi Prefecture, reported on Instagram that it had arrived at the venue for "Beer Fes Fukushima" in Fukushima City. This time it is not a beer truck but a tent booth, and it will serve the winter-only "Shimaenaga" and "Kitakitsune."
Forest Brewing of Kawasaki Town, Miyagi Prefecture, reported on Instagram that it had entered the venue for "Beer Fes Fukushima." This time it will participate from a tent rather than a beer truck, so the booth will have a somewhat smaller setup.
The brewery is based in Kawasaki Town, where snowmelt water from the Zao mountain range flows in, and it presents itself as a "craft beer made with firewood," born from a company engaged in firewood production. According to its official website, brewing began in May 2023, and with a focus on the water of northern Zao and the ingredients used, it offers a wide range of styles from lagers to IPAs and weizens.
For this event, the winter limited beers "Shimaenaga" and "Kitakitsune" will be featured. Forest Brewing's official website also introduces "SHIMAENAGA" as a seasonally limited weizen, so the venue should offer a chance to try a beer that differs from the regular lineup.
In its post, the brewery says these are limited items that are no longer available at its shop and encourages first-time visitors and craft beer fans to enjoy them. Attention is gathering on what kind of beer the brewery from Kawasaki Town, Miyagi, will bring to the event in Fukushima City.
