In an Instagram post on August 11, ForestBrewing said it will join the Sendai Craft Beer Festival, one of Sendai’s summer beer events. The brewery described the gathering as a place where breweries from across Tohoku come together and said it plans to line up multiple limited beers for a special experience only available at the venue.

The event is set to be enjoyed at Kotodai Park with food under the summer sky, and the post also encouraged visitors during the Obon holiday period. The message positions ForestBrewing as part of the festival’s regional mix while highlighting its own beer character.

Based in Kawasaki Town, Miyagi, ForestBrewing began brewing in May 2023 after starting from a firewood production business. The brewery sits upstream of the Kamafusa Dam area, where meltwater from the Zao mountains flows in, and it also uses wood scraps from its adjacent firewood operation as a heat source. Its official lineup includes German Pilsner, Helles, IPA and Weizen, showing a broad range from lagers to hop-forward and wheat styles.
