The brewpub "Nagano Minamikaze Beer" in Nagano City has started brewing its milk stout "YaYa (Six Nights)." In a post, the brewery said it has been about half a year since the last batch, and shared that the aroma of roasted malt was filling the air. True to the shop's commitment to brewing on-site, the restart itself feels like a sign of the changing seasons and preparation for the next pint.

"YaYa (Six Nights)" is also introduced in the online shop as a milk stout, with characteristics said to include coffee-like roasty notes and a smooth, latte-like mouthfeel. It is a style that offers the mellow softness typical of a milk stout within the calm flavor profile of a black beer, and its appeal lies in being easy to drink rather than simply heavy.

Nagano Minamikaze Beer is a brewpub within walking distance of Nagano Station. It moved to its current location in December 2021 and obtained its brewing license in April 2022. The brewery focuses on making beer with agricultural products from Shinshu, and offers a lineup with a strong regional character. Its shop information also highlights beers made with Shinshu ingredients and flavors that evoke Nagano, giving the lineup a clear local identity.

In this latest post, the brewery says the beer will be offered as a new batch sometime before summer, so customers will want to wait for it to appear in stores and on tap. The brewery is also continuing to recruit staff, and is letting people know that it is looking for those who want to work in a beer bar.

The upcoming schedule was also announced.

- June 6 and 7: Beer Fest Tokyo
- June 20 and 21: Takaraya Theater Company Nagano performance

As brewing moves forward alongside event appearances, Nagano Minamikaze Beer is set to push both the return of its core products and its on-the-ground outreach at the same time.
