Nagano Minamikaze Beer announced on Instagram that it was at the venue preparing for Beer Fest Shinshu, which was due to begin the following day. The post showed the brewery carrying in equipment and supplies and setting up its booth ahead of service.

For a brewery, festival service requires a different kind of preparation from brewing and taproom operations. Serving equipment, supplies, and the layout of the service area all need to be arranged within a limited timeframe so that beer can be poured safely and smoothly. The post offers a glimpse into the work behind the scenes before the festival opens to visitors.

Nagano Minamikaze Beer traces its roots to a standing yakitori bar founded in Tsurumi, Yokohama, in 2010. The business moved to Nagano City in 2016 and developed into a venue serving craft beer and charcoal-grilled food. It opened its current brewpub in December 2021 and obtained its brewing license in April 2022.

Located about an eight-minute walk from Nagano Station, the brewpub features a blue, seaside-inspired interior and allows guests to enjoy house-made beer alongside food. Guests seated at the counter can view the brewing tanks, while the menu includes Shinshu salmon, lamb sausages from Shinshu-Shinmachi, and locally produced ham.

With a focus on agricultural products from Nagano Prefecture, the brewery aims to help establish a lasting craft beer culture in Nagano City. At Beer Fest Shinshu, visitors will have the opportunity to discover how Nagano Minamikaze Beer presents its beers and food in a festival setting.
