Kyoto event announcement

Faló Brewing will take part in "Brewer's Night BEER PUB TAKUMIYA vol. 8" on August 8 at BEER PUB TAKUMIYA in Kyoto. The venue has long positioned itself as a place where producers and guests can connect, and this time it will host the brewery from Yamamoto, Miyagi.

A brewery rooted in Yamamoto

Faló Brewing is based in Yamamoto Town, the southernmost town on Miyagi's Pacific coast. The brewery has been developing its site by renovating a former junior high school into a brewing facility, while aiming to become a presence that warms the local community. The name Faló means "campfire," reflecting a desire to create a place where people gather, talk, and enjoy beer together.

Two flagship beers in the spotlight

The poster for the event highlights two core beers: Tsubame Draught and Faló IPA. Tsubame Draught is a light, approachable beer inspired by the swallows that are often seen in Yamamoto in spring, and it reflects the brewery's idea of making something "Clean, Crisp and Crushable." Faló IPA, meanwhile, represents the hop-forward side of the lineup.

For beer fans, the event offers a chance to see how a brewery from Miyagi presents its beers in Kyoto, and how its local identity comes through in the glass.
